Replacing the wheels on an old scooter is worth it. If you notice the scooter rides rough, take a look at its wheels: chances are they are flat, especially the back wheel because of the brakes. I have replaced the wheels of a couple of scooters (my daughter's and mine), and they are as good as new. All you need is a couple of 5mm allen wrenches.
