Overall: This model of the Cateye Strada does not disappoint. It's a very good beginner's to intermediate bike computer.
Pros: There are several options from time, total distance, trip 1 distance, trip 2 distance, current speed, ave speed etc. All these are very simple to use because the whole thing is just one big button. There is no need to fumble around trying to push one specific spot while you're riding. The wireless makes life that much easier, not having to deal with wires when setting up. There is a clear readout of your speed and one other bit of information. The auto start and stop are very handy.
Cons: placement could be better. I have mine on my stem and if I'm in a sprint, it's not in a convenient place to see how fast I'm currently going. I've seen computers that stick out from the handlebars. This makes them a little more vulnerable, but definitely easier to read while riding. Battery life is average. The wireless components mean you have to replace more batteries. If you're seriously training, then this will not suffice for you. There are better options that tell you a lot more information at once and are a lot more customizable. If you're not training for Le Tour, maybe you wont need the cadence sensor or both how fast you've done each of the last 10 miles.Get more detail about Cateye CC-RD300W Strada Wireless Bicycle Computer.
