I bought this for my 8 year old son for his birthday, it was all he wanted because a friend of his on our street had one. He has had several battery powered vehicles and this is by far his favorite. He rides it on the sidewalks around our home. It rides well in grassy areas as well. We charge it after every use so it will be ready for the next ride. In the winter, we kept it in the house, because the cold is not good for the battery. Looks like a real dirt bike and is very sturdy. i have never been disappointed in a Razor product.
