This has to be one of the best designs. The push-button easily detaches the basket, which may then be used as a shopping basket. On a personal note: While my bike was propped up on its kickstand, a rogue wind puhsed the bike on its side, and bent the basket, slightly. I was able to restore its shape without much difficulty. The basket remains quite sturdy, and can support several pounds of groceries, no problem.
