I used the included mounting bracket to attach the lock to my bike, and within 3/4 of a mile, the plastic bracket broke - dropping my lock in the middle of an intersection. Part of the plastic holder just split right off, rending the bracket completely useless. Since then, I've just been wrapping the lock around my top tube, and locking it across the headset to keep it from sliding around.
The lock itself has served me well, and it really isn't hard to set the combination (despite what other reviewers said). But, just plan on an alternate way of carrying it, because the plastic mounting bracket doesn't last.Get more detail about Avenir Coil Combo Cable Locks (12mm / 6 feet).
