Purchased this product one year ago. Rack was on and off vehicle five or six times, lock worked well. The only problem is to make sure lock is secured to pin BEFORE hasp is placed on the pin. The lock is so tight against the hasp that if you put the hasp on first, the lock may not engage and fall off.
