Overall, this is a fairly cheaply made product. This does not, however, mean that it is a poor product. You bolt it together with a wrench and some Allen keys. This also makes it very lightweight. While you may have trouble fitting the fully advertised 6 bikes in the rack, you could easily do 2 comfortably on each side. The design allows you to very easily roll a 700C wheel into the slots and leave it free standing without any concern for the bike tipping over. Because anyone with a hex key and a wrench can effectively dismantle your bike stand, this does not make for a very secure solution. Although it is probably better than bolting your bike to nothing. Even if you couldn't dismantle it so easily, the tubes are so thin and light, that a thief could more easily cut the rack than your U lock.
For me, it is an ideal solution to storing bikes in my garage. With this rack, I don't need to fuss around with pulling bikes down from a wench on the ceiling, it's just roll out and go.Get more detail about SportRack Bike Valet.
