I used it to clean the chains on 2 lightly used mtn bikes for the first time in over 8 years. I used mineral spirits as the cleaning solvent (much cheaper than the "recommended" cleaning solution) and 2 fluid changes per bike. It got the job done. The brushes look like the took a pretty good beating even with just 2 uses, so they may need to be replaced fairly frequently. Good thing they sell the replacement brush kit separately.
