It's a decent bike for the price. Not going to compete with the more expensive mtn bikes.

Quality is average. Doesn't always shift into lower gears making you try 2-3 times before it catches the correct gear. The intertubes are awful. The front was leaking after my first ride. A $4 walmart tube is better quality. The front brakes rub on the disc because the disc is uneven. You'll have to adjust the position of the brake to get the least ammount of rub. The instructions are nonexistant. It's a generic bike manuel for all models so don't expect any help there.

Kryptonite R4 Retractor Combo Cable Lock (2.6mm x 90) Review

Sure, it looks nice. But I wouldn't trust it with anything you truly care about. Any good thief is going to know whether something is really secure or not or else we wouldn't have so many stolen bikes. I have this lock sitting right here, in pieces. I gave it a little tug and sure enough, pop. The cable will pop right out as those little plastic pieces inside aren't going to do much. You would be better off tying up your bag with a piece of rope. It's also very bulky. And if you didn't realize, the light actually does nothing to help you see the combination in the dark. Zefal Dooback Bicycle Mirror (Left) Top Quality

I bought it because I have one that I bought 8 years ago that works perfectly. Now that I bought a new bike, and give to my kid the old one, I decided to buy a new mirror. My surprise is to see that the mirror is as great as the other, but the reflective part, just the mirror part, is very very poor, not even closer to my first model. Still, I will keep it and I will replace that part gluing a true mirror ove the cheap mirrored plastic that came.
Sad, but it does not reflect with any fidelity what you have behind.

I won't bother to re-state the positive reviews of this chain but I have to admit that even though I knew that this bicycle security device would be heavy, somehow I grossly underestimated just how heavy it would be! I made the mistake of passing our mail kiosk while our mail carrier was putting mail in our boxes and asked if she had my package. I offered to sign for it right there so she wouldn't have to drive up to my door and she kept trying to persuade me that I didn't want to do that. "Are you sure? This package is really heavy. What's in there, anyway? Lead bricks?" The box wasn't big at all but it was THAT heavy and dense. I had to stop a few times to shift the weight from one arm to the other on the way home :) For sure, this is not a lock you want to carry around regularly for short bike rides. I'm not even sure that my baskets and panniers could handle that much weight. For longer term lock-ups, this chain is so HUGE and heavy that I can't imagine that a thief would even bother to try to defeat it! I'll be carrying it in my car when I travel with my bike for locking it up once I reach my destination but for quick trips into markets? The younger childs first bike so I'm sure its going to take alot of punishment. It's built tough and she loves the color(hard to find to find lt blue). Now all the neighborhood kids want one. Really good buy, absolutly no regrets.

Yakima DeadLock Get it now!

I think this product is ok.. but it is only long enough for the end bike only. You really have to have another lock if you want to put a bike on the front rack instead of on the end. Your instructions from Yakima says put your bike if you are carrying less than 4 closer to the car.. but the lock doesnt work unless your last bike is in the slot fartherest away from car closest to the end..but is a easy lock..Get more detail about Yakima DeadLock.
