I think this product is ok.. but it is only long enough for the end bike only. You really have to have another lock if you want to put a bike on the front rack instead of on the end. Your instructions from Yakima says put your bike if you are carrying less than 4 closer to the car.. but the lock doesnt work unless your last bike is in the slot fartherest away from car closest to the end..but is a easy lock..Get more detail about Yakima DeadLock.
