If you need a seat a little larger than normal, this one is great. Very comfortable, but the plastic on the bottom will not stand up to abuse. But, then again, most beach cruiser seats don't take much abuse. I'm 220 with a large rear, and it was great as my first seat, no pain at all, while I got in shape on the bike. Now after a month, I'm mostly riding singletrac mountainbike trails, so had to find a skinny gel seat.
