Through 35 years and multi-thousands of miles of road and mountain biking, I've owned five saddles -- two horribly uncomfortable seats, one good one that broke, two very nice ones still in use, and now this beautiful Brooks I've installed today on my commuter bike. I've just returned from a half hour spin, and I already know this saddle will be the best of my life.

Yes, it's as hard as ebony, but I know right now that its design ... form ... shape ... whatever that's called ... accomodates all of the shifts of weight and angles that a cyclist's behind requires while climbing, descending, and cruising. It seems to support and contain my precious bottom's motion while allowing a slick transition between positions.

I wouldn't head out on long ride on it tomorrow - I've been warned about riding a new Brooks - but my daily few miles will be painless, I know, and I suspect I'll be thinking about replacing my other two bikes' perfectly decent saddles with Brooks.

Why, oh why, did I wait so long to finally get a Brooks? I guess I was afraid of the initial break-in. Well, unless a rider's leaving tomorrow on a long, long ride, I know there's no need to fear a Brooks. Even then, I think it'd work out. A serious rider has a serious bottom.

I purchased this bike bag a few months ago along with a few friends. We quickly noticed issues with the zipper in the tool part of the bag. When riding moderately technical trails we noticed that each of our bags half way through the ride started dumping tools. So everytime we stopped you'd have to zip the bag up as the zipper would start to creep open. At this point, we've all lost about half our tools and the bag is now a running joke between us all. I would not buy this bag unless you are doing road or very lite trail riding. Discount Park Tool CT-5 Mini Chain Brute Chain Tool

This is not a GREAT tool. This will help you in a bind and will effectively break a chain. It will not replace a pin to fix a chain though. The slot for the tool is just too small. Thats what I get for spending under ten dollars on a park tool. To be honest with you, Park Tools are really great tools, you can tell they really put the extra effort in their tools. Their bottom of the barrel tools are really lacking though. They just lack complete functionality. Sadly, I would not recommend this to a friend. This was the first unicycle I have ever bought and ridden. Let me say, this is great. The unicycle was easy and fun to ride. I mastered riding in less than a day. I started riding at about 1 am and went to sleep, woke up, immediately started riding again, and got the hang of it. The price for what you get is amazing. CONS:
-Some interference, but not a huge deal
-Transmitter made poor battery contact, might be just the one I received
-Magnet casing made of plastic, a bit flimsy, and sticks out a lot

Conclusion: Great for the price, but expect to spend a little time making proper adjustments so that it works with your bike setup.


I bought this bike computer to replace a very old, even simpler bike computer that I had made by another company. The larger display makes reading the numbers much easier. One small difference I noticed between my previous wired one and this wireless one is that it takes a little longer for the display to show a change in speed (e.g. I will be climbing a hill and it will read something like 9.7mph and as I start going much, much faster down the hill, it will take a few seconds before it reads 21.3mph.

Like other users, I have received a transient interference that causes my bike computer to register a speed of about 74mph. It really doesn't make much of a difference except for the fact that my "max speed" is not accurate. The fact that this is wireless (and reasonably cheap) means that you have to accept some interference.

One of two problems that I have been having is the transmitter - for some reason it doesn't always make proper contact with the battery, meaning that whenever I go out for a ride, sometimes no signal will be transmitted. So my mileage isn't always accurate and I would have to stop mid-ride to adjust the battery. And yes, I checked the battery. It is fully charged. The problem seems to be in the housing. It isn't a big deal enough to return it but more of a nuisance. The second problem is the magnet - it says it will fit round or flat spokes, but if you attach it to just one it can be a bit flimsy and looks as if a bump would send it flying. I tried attaching it to two spokes, which worked, but the plastic looked flimsy and was already bending. The magnet also stuck out a lot, causing it to scrape the transmitter every time it passed by. I could have avoided this by moving the magnet up, but then I could not attach it to two spokes.
